Cottonwood Creek PFC Elections 2020
The Cottonwood Creek School Parent Faculty Club (CCS PFC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created with the mission to provide educational enrichment to the students at Cottonwood Creek. Our first year as a full-fledged K-8 school has provided the students with some amazing opportunities. They have experienced Walk Through History programs, been kept well informed by reading Scholastic News, utilized Brain Pop software, created art masterpieces and competed in countless sports with CCS’s athletic teams all with the support of the PFC.
In the next few months, students will be performing in the school production of Annie Jr., performing in the Creative Writing Club’s Open Mic and participating in the Breakfast Book Club’s Young Author’s contest. CCS will also be hosting the Traveling Lantern’s live theater, the STEM Arcade Museum, and Earth Dome assemblies at the school. These are all opportunities that were paid for by your generous contributions of time and financial resources to the PFC.
The PFC Board plays a significant role in deciding how your donation dollars are spent and how those resources are utilized by the school. If you would like to help us develop great enriching experiences for Cottonwood students and help guide how your donation dollars are spent, please join the CCS PFC Board for the 2020-21 school year.
All seven Board seats are up for election. The top seven vote getters will be elected to the Board and then will decide amongst themselves their specific positions. A few of this year’s board members have opted to run for reelection, but there are a number of seats that are still open. If you are interested in running for the PFC Board 2020-21, please fill out the form at this following nomination link. The nomination period is open from March 1st to March 15th. There will be an online election from March 23rd-26th.
