2021 Science Fair divisions: 

K-3 --  Science Exhibition and Participation Awards

4-5 -- Competitive Science Fair for CCS

6-8 -- Competitive Science Fair for CCS students who place move on to ACSEF 


Requirements: Each division has different requirements; please review the posted information carefully. 


Individual or Teams of 2 ONLY: Students can complete a project on their own or at most with one other student in the same division. 


Forms: Each student must complete a Science Fair Application Form and must have a parent or guardian complete a Science Fair Participation Permission Slip online. 

Science Fair Mentorship Program is for 6-8 grade students at CCS that would like to work with a volunteer science mentor from the community to assist them in developing their project. We currently have 22 students signed up for this program and do not have any more room in the program. Should more slots open up we will reach out to 6-8 graders who sign up for science fair to invite them to join the Science Fair Mentorship Program.

  • Online Application will be available Monday Oct 26, 2020. 

  • Deadline to submit CCS Science Fair Application:

    • K-5 Grade: Thursday November 19, 2020

    • 6-8 Grade: Thursday Dec 3, 2020 for CCS Science Fair Application  Note: ACSEF DEADLINE is Sat Dec 5th for project proposal and Tuesday Dec 15th for Paperwork  

  • Application Review Completed by the Science Fair Team:

    • 6-8 Grade: Saturday December 5, 2020

    • K-5 Grade: Saturday November 21, 2020
